Why Zambian-specific matters
The Employment Code Act, No. 3 of 2019 replaced the old Employment Act. LexaZM follows repeal-and-replace chains through the Gazette, so the provision it cites is alive.
Zambian land law works across customary tenure and statutory title. LexaZM treats both systems as substantive, not as an exception to a foreign default.
Amendments are traced to Gazette supplements and statutory instruments as published — not to whichever undated PDF happens to circulate.
Authority, in order
LexaZM ranks by the court hierarchy instead of flattening every matching result.

Security and trust
Legal research can contain privileged facts, client documents and work in progress. We value security by making privacy, controlled access and verifiable AI output design requirements, not optional features.
Our program is being built against recognized legal, security and responsible-AI benchmarks. The standards below describe our direction; they do not claim certification.
Privacy baseline
The local starting point for how personal information should be collected, used and protected.
Security management
A reference model for risk ownership, access controls, incident response and continual improvement.
Application security
A practical benchmark for authentication, session handling, data validation and secure application design.
Responsible AI
A framework for identifying, measuring and managing risks introduced by AI-assisted research.
How we express the value
Questions, uploads and project information should exist to deliver the research workspace, not become an unrelated data asset.
Research begins behind an authenticated account, and uploaded documents remain associated with the project where they were added.
Answers carry source references and a clear disclaimer so a practitioner can inspect the authority before relying on the result.
Your questions, uploaded documents, project details, saved sources and research history are all treated as workspace data.
The product requires authentication. Project uploads and their research context remain connected to the relevant project and signed-in account.
Responses include citations and a required disclaimer. The interface is designed to move you from a proposition to the underlying document before you rely on it.
No. These are the laws and control frameworks guiding the security program. LexaZM will only describe a certification as achieved after independent verification.
